Happy New Year and we trust that you had an amazing break.
As we start 2026 and training begins again, we wanted to give you an update on the key priorities for the club this year:
1. Player and coach recruitment - we would like to have more players and coaches to fill the gaps in our team age groups. If you know anyone who would be interested in playing or coaching, please do let us know.
2. Fundraising - we had a successful Cash 4 Kids campaign in 2025 and this helped us to pay for the winter indoor training facilities and enabled us to tidy the area behind the pavilion and to have the pavilion pumps serviced. It also helped us keep the club going by contributing to our bills.
3. Match days - we would love to have the pavilion open for all of our home matches and are looking for your support to enable us to do this. We have some excellent facilities and having them open is good for the club and raises valuable funds, if we sell teas and coffees.
4. Key club roles - we have two new Registration Secretaries who help us to have all the team and player registrations correct and up to date. We also need to get our new Child Wellbeing & Protection Officer ready to go.
5. Property - there are a number of property related matters that we need to invest in, from cleaning to replacing old equipment.
